Basement Waterproofing:
Systems and Products

Information current as of

Most of our research about good basement waterproofing products led us toward qualified professionals who can take care of the problem for you. They are in every state. However, this project can be fairly expensive. If you're more interested in trying something yourself first, we advise the following:

Visit your local hardware store, small town or big city, including Menards, Home Depot and Lowes, as well as your local mom and pop establishment. Take a general survey of what products they recommend, based on length of fix, ease of use, and price. Cost should be some of the factor, but you pay for what you get so don't be too cheap. You want this to actually solve the problem not compound it.

Do extensive internet research. That's probably what led you here, but you'll want to visit other sites, too.
